Introduction

Welcome to the blog of the Appalachian Writer's Guild! Our mission is to help provide our fellow writers and authors with information, resources, and encouragement. We are open to any age, background, or experience. All we want to do is be a place for budding authors. This is not a class. We are not here to teach you how  to write, we are here to help you develop your writing skills. For that reason, we recommend that you be at least highschool age before joining (obviously, exceptions can occur, some people are developing their writing voice at a very young age). This blog is mainly a place to update our members on meetings, as well as a place for them to post their Story Challenge stories. If you are interested in joining the Appalachian Writer's Guild, or any if you have comments or questions, feel free to  appwritersguild@gmail.com . We will be more than happy to talk to you. Thanks so much for joining, and we hope you enjoy our short stories. -Appalachian Write
